What We Do

There are a number of activities The SABSA Founders Bursary is undertaking: 

  • Creating opportunities for recipients.
  • Raising awareness of its existence and mission.
  • Raising funds.
  • Making potential recipients aware of the opportunities available from the bursary.
  • Seeking applicants.
  • Selecting recipients.
  • Awarding the Bursary.
  • Managing the logistics and operations.

To undertake this work, we need a larger group of members and if you would like to be involved, please contact us.

Our Committee and Becoming a Member

The SABSA Founders Bursary Committee manages the operations of the Bursary and is currently:

  • Carol Sutton (Chair).
  • Michael Hirschfeld (Member).
  • Rob Laurie (Member).
  • Harley Aw (Member). 
  • Claire Hirschfeld (Member).
  • James Lynas (Member).
  • Rebecca Osborne (Member).
