Applications Open for The SABSA Founders Bursary 2026

Do you know any young women in the early stages of their Cyber Security careers who would benefit from attending additional training or a major security conference?

The SABSA Founders Bursary was created following COSAC 2019 to honour and carry forward the work of the three founders and authors of SABSA: John Sherwood, Andy Clark, and David Lynas and has been providing opportunities to young women since the return of COSAC 2022.  The bursary is able to offer Bursary awards to aspiring young entrants into the Information Security industry the opportunity to attend either a SABSA Training course or a COSAC Conference.

Applications are now open as of 20th February, and Close on Friday 13th March.

Interested applicants can access the processĀ from here.

Please note, a recipient may only receive a SABSA Founders Bursary award once so previous award recipients are not eligible to apply.

We are grateful to our donors who make this possible and to all COSAC attendees for making the experience so wonderful.
