Do you know any young women in the early stages of their Cyber Security careers who would benefit from attending additional training or a major security conference?
The SABSA Founders Bursary was created following COSAC 2019 to honour and carry forward the work of the three founders and authors of SABSA: John Sherwood, Andy Clark, and David Lynas and has been providing opportunities to young women since the return of COSAC 2022. The bursary is able to offer Bursary awards to aspiring young entrants into the Information Security industry the opportunity to attend either a SABSA Training course or a COSAC Conference.
Applications open on Friday 20 February 2026 and Close on Friday 13 March 2026.
Details of the awards themselves and the application process are available from the SABSA Founders Bursary website.
Interested applicants can access the process from here.
Please note, a recipient may only receive a SABSA Founders Bursary award once so previous award recipients are not eligible to apply.
We are grateful to our donors who make this possible and to all COSAC attendees for making the experience so wonderful.
Regards
Michael Hirschfeld
